Sketchbook Club – Guest Artist Session with Lisa Yates
Join us for a special edition of Sketchbook Club, hosted by mural artist Lisa Yates, at The Big Onion in Southport.
This relaxed, welcoming session is all about giving yourself time to slow down, be creative, and enjoy working in your sketchbook alongside others. Whether you come regularly or it’s your first time, you’ll be made to feel at home.
For this session, Lisa will be introducing a new theme and sharing some of her tips and techniques, offering a chance to learn from an experienced mural artist in an informal and supportive setting.
You don’t need to be “good at art” — this isn’t a class or a lesson, just a space to explore, experiment, and enjoy the process.

Gentle guidance, ideas and inspiration from a guest artist
Time to work at your own pace
What to bring
We’ll have a selection of materials available to use on the day, but you’re very welcome to bring any of your own materials if you have favourites you enjoy working with.
