Week 1 - 14th January: Vision Boards for 2026
A gentle creative session focused on hopes, intentions, and possibilities for the year ahead. Using collage, colour, and words, you’ll create a personal vision board to reflect what you’d like to invite into 2026. Please feel free to bring any photos, cut-outs, paper, or images you’d like to include.
Week 2 - 21st January : Objects & Meaning
An invitation to explore personal stories through drawing and creative reflection. Bring a small object or two, that hold meaning for you, and use them as inspiration for gentle drawing, mark-making, or mixed-media work. Sharing is always optional.
Week 3 - 28th January: Drawing from Nature
A calm, mindful session inspired by natural forms and textures. Bring natural objects from your home or local environment (such as leaves, stones, shells, or flowers) and explore slow observation, drawing, and creative responses to nature.
Week 4 -4th February: Valentine’s for Yourself (and Others)
A Valentine’s-themed session focused on kindness, self-care, and gentle connection. Create artworks centred on self-love, gratitude, or positive messages, or take part in a “random act of Valentine’s kindness” by making a card or artwork to gift anonymously or take home.
Week 5 - 18th February: Crafting for Calm
A relaxed, hands-on craft session focused on making something soothing and tactile. We’ll explore simple crafts such as paper weaving, handmade bookmarks, decorative tags, or small keepsakes—perfect for slowing down and enjoying the process rather than the outcome. No crafting experience needed.
Week 6 - 25th February: Architectural Drawing & Meaningful Places
A gentle exploration of buildings and places that hold personal significance. Bring photos of places that mean something to you—homes, streets, landmarks, or favourite spaces—and use them as inspiration for expressive architectural drawing and creative interpretation.
Week 7 - 4th March: Collage Play
A playful and freeing collage session focused on experimentation and creativity. Bring any crafty bits you’d like to use—magazines, fabric scraps, paper, ephemera—and explore layering, texture, and intuitive making in a relaxed, supportive space.
Week 8 - 11th March: Outdoor Drawing Club & Creative Reflection
Our final session brings everything together. Weather-permitting, we’ll enjoy outdoor drawing in Town Hall Gardens, using observation and creativity to reflect on what we’ve explored over the weeks. Feel free to bring any materials you’d like and revisit your favourite techniques.
