Live to Learn are a Southport based day centre for people with additional needs post education 18+. Art Ease have provided a series of arts and crafts workshops to the group, and have held a seasonal syllabus of activities which we were followed with the team. Activities include recycling products such as cardboard and paper from student’s homes to create masks and seasonal collages, collecting organic items on walks such as flowers and foliage for inspiration, and encouraging students to keep a sketchbook as a visual diary. Sessions are centered around wellbeing, and encourage mindfulness as well as conversation.
