Each month, Art Ease facilitate arts and crafts sessions for individuals in addiction recovery, offering a space for creativity, reflection, and connection. These workshops bring people together around a shared table to create something meaningful, celebrating both the changing seasons and the strength of personal transformation.
Our projects are simple, hands-on, and adaptable to a wide range of ages and abilities. Every session focuses on a seasonal theme, from autumn leaves and lanterns to spring renewal and winter light, using art as a gentle way to explore ideas of change, resilience, and hope.
Between our monthly meetings, participants continue their creative journey with guided activities and ideas they can explore on their own or in small groups. These ongoing projects help sustain a sense of routine, mindfulness, and self-expression throughout the month.
The atmosphere is welcoming, relaxed, and non-judgmental - a place where creativity becomes a tool for healing and connection. Whether through painting, collage, or shared group pieces, each person contributes their own color, story, and spark of light to the table.
“So relaxing, I could have crafted all day”
“Emmy is non-judgmental and treats us all as equals, listening to our experiences and encouraging our creativity through crafts. I love coming to the sessions and especially the seasonal ideas, it can be hard to find time to myself but this has helped so much”
