May 2026: Creativity, Community & Big Opportunities
May has been a wonderfully busy and exciting month at Art Ease CIC, filled with creativity, community connection and some very special opportunities. Highlights included travelling to London as finalists for Social Enterprise of the Year at the Small Awards, hosted by Small Business Britain, alongside visits to the Tate for sketchbook inspiration. Back in Southport, creative wellbeing sessions continued to thrive, with Sketchbook Club hosted by Fiona Godfrey, ongoing Creative Reset sessions at local colleges, mindful drawing groups supporting wellbeing, and new workshops with young people through WACA. Spring Has Sprung at Art Ease: Creativity, Community & New Beginnings
Spring has arrived at Art Ease CIC, bringing fresh energy, exciting collaborations and plenty of creative community activity. April has been packed with mindful drawing, Calm & Create sessions, workshops across Southport and the return of Sketchbook Club. Behind the scenes, Art Ease has also been growing new partnerships, updating its events calendar and expanding opportunities for local groups to access free creative wellbeing workshops. April has been a busy and uplifting month at Art Ease CIC, filled with creativity, collaboration and exciting recognition. From meeting local MP Patrick Hurley to celebrating being finalists at the Pride of Sefton Awards, the team has had plenty to celebrate. Community sessions have flourished too, with mindful drawing in the gardens, creative workshops for U3A, college wellbeing projects, and the return of popular Sketchbook Clubs.
